The G8 Global Tour kicks off Sunday 15th June 2008.
Dave Dyer and Clive Jones of the Global Group (www.globalgroup.org) will then ride out of Staffordshire on the first leg of their charity challenge to complete a circuit of 8 European capital cities in 8 days on motorcycle trikes, accompanied by mechanic Rick Pye of Singles to Superbikes on a support bike.
The demanding itinerary will see them traverse London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, Berlin, Prague, Bern and Paris in a bid to raise £10,000 for their nominated charities: the Alzheimer's Society and NSPCC.
This ain't no sightseeing trip! They will experience tough physical symptoms in their arms, legs, neck and back as they spend long days in the saddle - and then there's the burning buns to contend with!
It will all be worth it, however, if they can deliver a cheque to their two charities for the target amount of £10k which is where, dear reader, we appeal for your help.
